Books will be delivered to all students across the country by March 10, said Professor Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud, the outgoing adviser to the Ministry of Education.

An introductory meeting of the ministry with the new education adviser, CR Abrar, was held at the Secretariat on Wednesday (March 5). The outgoing adviser provided this information.

Wahiduddin Mahmud stated, "Although the new books were supposed to be delivered by February, many students have not yet received them. However, all students will receive their books by March 10. The delay in the arrival of new books is due to both the delay in printing and distribution issues."

He mentioned that the interim government has taken office in a highly chaotic situation. There was unrest in all universities, schools, and colleges. He claimed that it has been possible to bring the situation back to normal by overcoming various challenges.

The adviser further stated that there was unrest in various government and private educational institutions in the country due to various demands. It cannot be said that the situation is completely normal, but it has improved somewhat.

Prof CR Abrar took oath as an adviser to the interim government. He came to the Secretariat around 12 noon on Wednesday. He exchanged greetings with the officials and employees of the Ministry of Education.

Wahiduddin Mahmud was the Minister of Education as well as the Ministry of Planning.
