Anti-Muslim Hate in the UK Hits Record High The Record Say

Anti-Muslim sentiment in the UK has risen to a record high since the start of the Gaza war. There were nearly 6,000 incidents of anti-Muslim violence in the country last year. That's more than double the number the year before.

Tell Mama, an organization that focuses on events stemming from Islamophobia, confirmed this. They said more men were victims of anti-Muslim acts than women last year.

Most of the incidents were of hate behavior, physical abuse, divisiveness and vandalism. Most of the attacks took place in open spaces such as roads and parks, where crowds are high. This has rarely happened in the workplace.

According to the report, there were 6,313 incidents of anti-Muslim hate in the UK in 2024. This is 43 percent more than the previous year. Of these incidents, 5,837 complaints have been verified and confirmed by Tell Mama.

The organization also says that anti-Muslim rhetoric has increased in the UK since the start of the Gaza war and the Southport massacre. There are also false claims that Muslims are sympathetic to terrorists or terrorists. BBC.
